Air conduction is how we hear most of the time. Our eardrums convert sound waves into vibrations sending them to the cochlea.
Bone conduction is when sound is delivered directly to the inner ear through the bones of the skull, bypassing the eardrums.
How to use the SONR Music device?
Here are some general steps on how to use the SONR device:
1. Charge the Battery: Fully charge the device before use. 2. Enjoy Preloaded Songs: Your SONR comes with songs preloaded and ready to play. 3. Add Your Own Music: • Connect the device to your computer and transfer music files to listen in MP3 mode. • Or, use Bluetooth mode on dry land to play music directly from your phone.
4. Position the Device: Place the device on your bones for optimal sound. Start with the back of your head or forehead and adjust as needed. Attach it securely using goggles or a swim cap. 5. Press Play and Swim! Hit play and enjoy your music while swimming.

How to upload music
Drag and drop audio files to use underwater Connect SONR Music to your computer with the USB plug. Drag and drop audio files into the drive and listen to them underwater. The memory capacity of SONR Music is 16GB. The volume level can be changed in the SONR Music application.
Connect via Bluetooth to a smartphone to use in dryland training Connect SONR Music with your smartphone via Bluetooth and enjoy songs in dryland training such as cycling and running. Access popular platforms like Spotify and iTunes.
Does Bluetooth work underwater?
Unfortunately, Bluetooth devices, including SONR Music, use a 2.4GHz radio frequency that doesn’t work well in water. Due to the laws of physics, water molecules block the signal, limiting the range to just a few inches underwater.
On dry land, the device can stay connected to Bluetooth at a range of up to 50 meters.To enjoy music underwater, simply upload your favorite tracks from any computer via drag-and-drop and use MP3 mode.
However, we are working now on the streaming version to have the possibility to listen to your fav streaming platforms even underwater, so stay tuned!
